Mark Camley joins Olympic Park Legacy Company

BY Pete Hayman

Mark Camley has been named as the Olympic Park Legacy Company's (OPLC) director of park operations, responsible for managing the 250 acres (101 hectares) of open space.

One of the first major projects to be undertaken by Camley in his new role is the opening of the park's South Plaza, which is located between the Olympic Stadium and Aquatics Centre.

Camley said: "To be part of one of Europe's largest regeneration project is a great opportunity. I want to create a Park that is loved by local communities and is visited again and again."
