We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our team in a newly created role as Digital Marketing Executive for Merlin Entertainments Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role
Drawing on an understanding of core online marketing principles, the Digital Marketing Executive will help plan and execute innovative and creative online marketing activity for the business in order to maximise volume, revenue and yield. The role will have specific responsibility for traffic acquisition, database growth, and audience engagement, and in driving transaction value through up-selling and cross-selling of key products.

The role will be focused on key attractions within the Asia Pacific region (specifically Australia, New Zealand and Japan) and will support where the business requires the specialist ecommerce skills. The role will also ensure global best practice is adhered to and will report against the attractions KPI’s.

About You
To succeed in this role you will have;

- Hands on experience with the Google AdWords platform and Google Display Network
- Experience with Facebook advertising
- Working knowledge of HTML and other core web languages/technologies
- Experience with web Content Management Systems
- An understanding of Google Analytics reporting
- Experience with Emailing platforms
- Basic competence with Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite programmes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Budget management experience
- Time and priority management skills competent ability to read, write (simplified or Traditional) and speak fluently in Chinese and Japanese
