An exciting opportunity has developed, we are launching a new gym in Solihull Town Centre and we are looking for a Fitness Instructor with a difference. We are looking for a ‘super star’ in the making as this is a unique role combining fitness and sales taking a prospects through a full journey to becoming a happy member fulfilling their goals.

énergie Fitness Clubs is an established brand in health and fitness industry, offering great facilities at affordable prices. you will understand members needs and help, advise and train them to achieve individual goals. You will need to be pro-active and outgoing to communicate with members and develop a professional relationship. The role is crucial to the clubs success and you will be the first point of contact to answer queries and help members. The main responsibilities will include gym instruction, writing exercise programmes and conducting various one-to-one appointments, including nutritional consultations.

You will be a crucial member of the team as your focus is attracting and engaging new members to join the new énergie Fitness Solihull. To do this you will have strong people skills, a work ethic that is innovative, proactive, organised and driven to achieving goals as well as being confident to network in the local residential and business community.

With your passion for fitness and customer service you will use your selling ability to match potential members’ needs to the unique products and services the club offers. Your role will be to:
• Attract and engage potential new members through a range of activities in the local area to your club.
• Be responsible for self-generated business, and make contact with all potential new members to encourage them to visit the club to see the facilities on offer.
• Manage incoming business inquiries with professionalism and high service standards.
• Show potential new members around the club to match your club facilities to their desired goals and interests.
• Demonstrate high levels of integrity by selling memberships in line with company terms and conditions.

The role is 30hrs a week and will be split 50/50 sales and fitness. Sales experience is desirable but not essential as we offer full training.

Minimum Level 2 qualification in Gym Instruction, previous experience is preferable but not essential. The qualifications to teach basic classes is desirable. A proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills are a must, as well as the ability to work as part of a committed team.
