GLL is looking for a Healthy Living Instructor in Bath, Somerset to deliver aquatics sessions as part of our Health Referral programme. As a not-for-profit, charitable social enterprise, we're different. Reinvesting back into our facilities, communities and people, we're committed to improving the lives of the communities that we serve.

Health Referral is our GP Referral Scheme, designed to support a wide range of people. NHS patients can be referred for many reasons - from diabetes and heart disease to depression, dementia or post-operative recovery. Rehabilitation or weight loss are just the start. As a Heathy Living Instructor, you'll help us to educate people in changing their entire lifestyle.

It all begins with an assessment. People can be nervous, so you'll need a patient, calm approach that puts them at ease in the pool environment. After identifying their needs, you'll design sessions which you'll deliver to a class. Naturally, you'll chart their progress too - taking measurements, discussing how they're getting on and showing just how far they've come. Rather than short term results, your focus will be on helping people to gain the tools and confidence they need to take responsibility for their own body and health.

Ideally, we're looking for an experienced Exercise Referral professional, but the role would suit Personal Trainers too - people inspired by the chance to make a difference. If you're a fitness professional or someone with an academic background in a sporting discipline and relevant vocational experience who's confident, sensitive and able to inspire a wide range of people - often with low fitness and confidence levels - this is for you. That means you'll need to have a valid level 3 in exercise referral and an aqua instructor qualification.

If you have a genuine passion for supporting people, apply now.

All pay rates are subject to skills, experience, qualifications and location.

Job description:
GLL, the UK’s largest leisure facilities provider and one of the first and largest leisure social enterprises, is looking for Gymnastics Coaches based at Pentwyn Leisure Centre in Cardiff for our lessons and courses for children and adults. Gymnastics is a key area of focus and investment for us. So far this year, we’ve invested £100k into our gymnastics facilities and equipment and there is much more investment to come. We’re a key player in 2012 Olympic legacy and in turn, our gymnastics courses are more popular than ever. With over 30 training facilities, including three impressive, sought-after purpose built gymnastics training units, we teach gymnastics to over 5,000 children and trampoline to over 1,500. Although we’re proud that our courses are so popular and have waiting lists for people to join, our aim is to get as many people off of those waiting lists and into lessons – and that’s where you come in.

The fact that you’re passionate about gymnastics is an understatement. You’ll live and breathe gymnastics and want to share that passion with your pupils and colleagues alike. A good all-rounder, you’ll also specialise in any of a number of disciplines that we teach such as men’s and women’s artistic, rhythmic, trampoline and acrobatic. You’ll be able to teach all groups from young children to adults and all abilities from those who enjoy gymnastics as a hobby to our elite pupils and medal winners.

You’ll thrive on seeing others develop and as your courses and lessons will be your own to lead and plan, you’ll influence their success and growth. Ensuring the lessons are enjoyable, you’ll be able to think on your feet and be creative with the facilities around you, still making sure that your pupils are constantly observed and kept safe. Due to our size and scale, there will be plenty of hours available for you to coach and the bigger our courses get, the more opportunity there will be to further develop your career with us. We invest in our people as well as our facilities and we aim to upskill and progress people throughout their time with us.

In return, we offer a range of benefits that you'd expect from the UK's largest leisure provider:

- Discounted membership at our leisure centres
- Career pathways
- Ongoing training and development to help you to be the best

Job description:
GLL is looking for Recreation Assistants to work at Copthall Leisure Centre in Barnet, North West London. If you have the talent and ambition to join us as a Lifeguard, there's never been a more exciting time to progress with a sector leader. This is more than a Lifeguard job - it's a career. Professional development is just the start. To ensure you stay at the top of your game, we provide training with practical and theory elements too.

Pool safety can't be underestimated - and neither can the responsibility that comes with this vital lifeguarding role.

- Pension schemes
- Discounted membership at our leisure centres
- Career pathways
- Ongoing training and development to help you to be the best

All pay rates are subject to skills, experience, qualifications and location.
