Something very exciting is underway in Goshen, New York. Due to open in 2020, LEGOLAND Park and Hotel in New York is Merlin’s biggest single investment to date and you could play a crucial part in this amazing project!

We’re now looking for a unique person who has a passion for sales and will lead the way in Delivering the Magic as we bring the world’s ninth LEGOLAND Park to life brick by brick. You will oversee the development and execute overall strategy and activities for the entire operations.

About The Role
You will be responsible for working directly and managing key relationships and negotiations with major strategic accounts. Directing, managing and motivating a team of Sales Staff to deliver our strategy regarding attendance and revenue targets.

- Plan, Develop & Manage sales strategies and ensure execution of plans across all accounts including necessary campaigns to reach targets.
- Responsible for pricing/revenue management, by developing a pricing strategy for all sales channels to optimize visitor numbers, yield and revenue.
- Take ownership of key strategic partners and lead annual negotiations
- Ongoing tracking of performance across all trade channels and recommend contingency actions to ensure guest and revenue targets are achieved.
- Support Head of LEGOLAND Vacation to develop and manage short break sales via sales channels.
- Participates in industry organizations and trade shows to build relationships and grow sales.
- Work closely with other Merlin attractions to ensure alignment activities and maximize guest and revenue.

About You
- Minimum of 5 years sales and management experience, with significant team leadership and sales responsibility.
- Experience in a theme park, hotel, resort or attraction a plus.
- Track record of success developing and implementing operational and tactical sales plans.
- Ability to think strategically and conceptually.
- Ability to influence others at all organizational levels.
- Strong negotiation skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Majors in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or other related field preferred.
