Something very exciting is underway in Goshen, New York. Due to open in 2020, LEGOLAND Park and Hotel in New York is Merlin’s biggest single investment to date and you could play a crucial part in this amazing project!

We’re now looking for a unique person who has a passion for I.T. who will lead the way in Delivering the Magic as we bring the world’s ninth LEGOLAND Park to life brick by brick. You will support the resort operations along with broader Merlin Entertainments locations along the East Coast.

About The Role
- I.T. Manager is responsible for leading and managing the I.T. Team to ensure an excellent level of I.T. Service Delivery in a regional model.
- Represent the wider IT team and ensure local alignment with strategy both commercially and technically.
- Provide first class IT support, promote innovation and demonstrate solid technical and commercial leadership.
- Build, lead and manager an I.T. team capable of delivering an excellent level of support to the business
- Ensure local solutions/implementations and deployment are in with the group I.T. strategy
- Work with the I.T. department to develop and improve the I.T. service delivered to regional attractions.
- Champion and promote service improvements on an on-going basis to continually improve quality and user satisfaction

About You
This role requires at least 10 years of I.T. experience including multi-units, large-scale projects and startup. Prefer entertainment or theme park industry experience.

A successful track record in planning, directing and managing large-scale I.T. operations is essential, with strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills (particularly in project management, contracting and budgeting).

Must possess strong people management skills with ability to set performance standards and manage against objectives, and effectively coordinate the utilization of internal and external resources.

Education:
A bachelor’s degree in IT or closely related field (or equivalent education and experience) is preferred.
