Whether you're joining us to help pay your way through uni or simply want to stay active and earn a salary, you can be sure that by being a Lifeguard with GLL, you'll gain invaluable life skills and work experience that could be the start to a great career in leisure.

If you're a strong swimmer, have great attention to detail and aren't phased by the responsibility of keeping thousands of adults and children safe over the summer, apply now or come to either of our Recruitment Open Days where you'll get the chance to be interviewed and swim-tested on the day. Don't forget your swimming kit and towel!

You'll also get to speak to some of our people about what it's like to be a Lifeguard / Recreation Assistant with GLL. We have casual hours available at our BETTER leisure centres and pools throughout the summer across London, Surrey, Amersham, Hatfield, Reading, Cambridge and Oxfordshire.

You'll also need to bring the following documentation to the open day: a copy of your Passport / EU ID / Valid VISA or birth certificate (full version) and NIN document (P45/P60, NIN Letter, or a pay slip).

All pay rates are subject to skills, experience, qualifications and location.
