LEGOLAND Florida Resort is looking for a Commercial Training Coordinator - F&B to join the LEGOLAND Florida Resort Team.

About the Role:
Oversees all training activities relating to the Food and Beverage Department, including the new hire training process. Creates and implements new training programs and materials for the F&B Department. Coordinates improvement programs and retraining initiatives for all hourly F&B employees.

Key Objectives:
- Directly oversees the training of new hires. Coordinates, schedules and conducts ‘train the trainers’ courses for the F&B training facilitators.
- Sources and creates training and development programs around key F&B focus areas.
- Collaborates and facilitates communication with HR and other departments where applicable for training and development purposes.
- Collaborates with Quality and Safety Team, Staff Coordinator and Operations team to evaluate business needs and create and facilitate re-training as needed for team members.
- Ensures learning and development of team are relevant and continuous.

Performs other duties as assigned.

About You:
Background in food service and/or training facilitation is desired. Must be detail oriented, adaptable and have a strong sense of personal accountability. Must have experience in scheduling and labor budgets. Needs to have working knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP, and general food service equipment. Must have an understanding of general food and beverage finances. Must possess strong communication skills and effective public speaking skills. This position requires effective organizational skills, the ability to take and prioritize information from multiple sources, and computer proficiency, including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint experience. Ability to work as part of a team and to develop others within the team structure required.

Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); College degree preferred.

Must possess or be able to obtain Manager’s Food Safety Certification within 6 months of hire date.
