£16,209 to Step 5 - £17,955 plus 14% shift allowance

Salary: Grade C – Salary Range Step 1
Working hours - 111 hours worked over a 3-week rolling shift (average 37 hours per week)
Shift hours of work are expected to be completed over five days, within a 7-day rota, including evenings and weekends
Closing date: Midday, Monday 4th September 2017

Wildern Leisure Centre is looking for a Duty Manager. You will have a drive for success, a passion for excellent service and a desire to work in a stimulating organisation. You will possess excellent communication skills and have the skill, drive and determination to support the development of the Leisure Centre. We are looking for a duty manager who is keen to take responsibility, has a keen eye for detail and the enthusiasm and stamina to deliver results.

Wildern Leisure Centre is a co-located centre at the heart of the community of Hedge End, West End and Botley and surrounding areas. The Centre is a busy hub of activity with the potential to grow further. We have a recently fully refurbished Fitness Suite as well as, Sports Hall, Gymnasium, Multi-Use Hall/Studio, 25m Swimming Pool, Learner Pool, Astro-turf, MUGA, Tennis Courts and Grass Football pitches. These facilities are supported by separate wet and dry side changing areas.

Essential Qualities:
* Good understanding of the leisure industry
* Leisure Supervision/Management experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A recognised qualification in Leisure Management or NVQ Level 3
* Extensive knowledge of the leisure industry
* Flexibility and commitment

Desirable Qualities:
* NPLQ, Pool Plant Operation and First Aid qualifications
* Fitness Instructor Level 2
