We are looking to recruit a strong Operations Manager to support the Club Manager in the day to day running of our busy health club in Winchester.

Some of the key responsibilities of this position are:

• Responsible for organising and managing the fitness and reception teams.

• Organising staff training and development activity through our club energizers scheme.

• Act up as club manager in their absence.

• Ensuring the club is compliant with all standard operating procedures and achieves no less than 85% on all audits.

• Liaising with our cleaner to make the clubs cleanliness standards is

• Ensuring all maintenance issues are reported and dealt with in a timely manner.

• Proactively organise club events for our members.

• Look to increase profits through effective cost control.

• Developing existing and new income opportunities.

• Ensure the club is fully compliant with the Health and Safety document

• Some knowledge of operational management, premises, equipment management and Health & Safety

• Building strong staff relationships to ensure high performing teams.

The Candidate

You will have at least 1 years minimum in a supervisory or managerial role with skills leaning towards fitness industry and customer service. You must be able to get the best out of your team and the ability to communicate at all levels with excellent interaction and service skills. You should have a strong understanding on how to use your Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to achieve your monthly targets and business objectives and confidently report your results to the club manager and head office teams. You must have some knowledge of Health and Safety and be at least level 2 qualified in the fitness industry.

You will receive excellent training and development via our head office and training partners to build on your skills and develop you towards furthering your career.
