Important: Please be advised that we cannot offer visa sponsorship and that you must have right to work status to apply or be considered for this role. If you are a non-UK/EU National, you must have an appropriate working Visa to undertake employment.

We focus on young children under 8. This is not a coaching job. Fifty per cent of the job is babies and parents classes (3 months old to 3 years old); forty per cent is children between 3 and 6 years old. Only ten per cent would be older children who are still learning to swim. This is not a squad job. You really need to be interested in teaching extremely young children how to swim. We only teach in warm pools (28 degrees for our older children and 34 degrees for our babies).

About us:

Red Whale Swim School is a rapidly expanding swim school in the Lake Geneva region in Switzerland. We currently offer lessons at 4 pools (2 pools in Geneva, one in Lausanne and one in Montreux). We offer lessons in English and French. Our teachers are Swim England/STA UK certified and we have adopted an Internationally recognised learn to swim programme. We focus on babies, toddlers, and young children. We currently have 450 children (we are operating at maximum pool capacity).

We offer:

• Minimum 30 hours per week contract.
• Base salary £20 per hour plus pension and accident insurance
• A studio for free during your first month if wanted and logistical help for relocation.
• If you don't speak French we will offer French lessons but the ideal candidate will need to commit to learning basic French. Minimum commitment of one year.

You will be asked to provide references.

Start Date: as soon as possible.
