Position Summary: Proficient working knowledge of audio visual systems and equipment. Possess the skills to work within a team on maintenance, troubleshooting, and code compliance of park wide AV systems. Willingness to train and become proficient on equipment and programming of show control systems. Supports and assists the Entertainment Management team at all times.

Scope and Responsibilities:
1. Strong knowledge of audio & video systems supporting retail, restaurant and outdoor spaces.
2. Efficient working knowledge of audio and video components.
3. Proven ability to repair and trouble-shoot AV systems.
4. Understanding of digital signal processors and complex signal flow.
5. Strong understanding of electrics, proficient in managing power distribution.
6. Ability to understand and follow safety regulations and procedures.
7. Knowledge of standard safety codes. Train & become proficient in code compliance on all installations to include:
- DOSH & OSHA requirements
- CBC- California Building Code
- CEC – California Electrical Code
- NFPA – National Fire Protection Association
- APCD – Air Pollution Control District
- Title-24 – Energy Efficiency Program
8. Proven ability to complete an assignment with minimal supervision.
9. Demonstrate a willingness to train and achieve certification on AV systems.
10. Communicates both verbal and written skills effectively.
11. Proficient in discussing projects with internal partners, vendors or sub-contractors.
12. Strong organizational skills, able to maintain an organized work area and control equipment inventory.
13. Except responsibility for assigned personal tool inventory.
14. Self-motivated to research and gain knowledge of equipment and industry advances.
15. Takes action to clean and maintain a safe environment in all venue, control, stage and backstage areas at all times.
16. Accept responsibility to maintain and continue one’s professional development and competence.
17. Demonstrate strong customer service skills with an awareness of guest satisfaction.

Background and Experience:
- Three years of experience in building and troubleshooting audio and video systems or equivalent experience preferred
- Must have knowledge and understand of signal flow and power distribution
- Must have excellent organizational and planning skills
- Must be self-motivated and show demonstrated initiative
- Must lead by example with a demonstrated history of supporting colleagues, as a team player.
- Strong problem solving skills and dedicated to providing outstanding guest service.
- Requires the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (or equivalent education and experience) is preferred.

Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and some holidays to support park operations.
