GLL is looking for a Catering Assistant to join the team at the newly built Cambridge Ice Arena – a dedicated permanent ice venue for the city. Over 20 years in the making, the Arena will open thanks to the generous donation of a Cambridge University alumnus who wished the city and surrounding areas to enjoy a premier ice and leisure destination. We want Cambridge Ice Arena to not only be a destination for recreational skaters but also for those who want to engage in a new kind of fitness as well as producing future Winter Olympic skaters, curlers and ice hockey players.

The catering team at pride themselves on delivering an effective and efficient cafe service with high levels of quality service by way of preparation, serving and delivery of fresh food and drinks, so you'll need to be just as passionate as they are. You'll ensure the cafe environment maintains hygiene and cleanliness standards in line with strict Health and Safety requirements.

Ideally, you'll have previous experience working as a Catering Assistant with good customer care skills. You'll have a Food Hygiene certificate and knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substance Hazardous to Health).
