The Community Activator Coach Apprentice leads/coaches fun, inclusive and engaging activities which help inactive people to change their behaviour to adopt a more active lifestyle.

The activities are particularly focussed on children from low income families, people with disabilities or long term medical conditions and older people.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic candidate to work towards their Community Activator level 2 apprenticeship over the course of 14 months.

We need someone who has:

• A real passion for a wide range of sports, exercise and fitness.
• Good communication and customer care skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• The ability to use own initiative.
• Full driving license and access to a car is essential.

This is a great opportunity for career development, You'll not only study for your level 2 qualification. You'll also attend a wide range of other training such as First Aid at Work, Level 2 Community Sports Leaders, Chair Based Exercise, Walks Leader and leading/coaching qualifications in specific sports.
