We are relaunching our fitness suite with brand equipment from September 2017 and we are looking for new staff to help take the business to the next level. This post is ideal for someone looking to progress in the Leisure industry and anyone who has an interest in Health and Fitness.

This key role will report to the General Manager, and will be responsible for day to day operation of the centre including health and safety, customer care, financial procedures, leading and managing the Leisure Assistants. Likewise, they will be expected to take on customer inductions, junior gym sessions and small group classes. The post includes evenings and weekend shifts. A First Aid certificate and a fitness qualification are essential.

The successful candidate should have previous knowledge of the leisure industry. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a commitment to customer service. As well as being organised and a confident communicator, you have leadership experience in a similar environment and understand the importance of being a team player. You bring enthusiasm and a 'can-do' attitude.

The essential ingredients
We are looking for teachers who were born to swim, and who are keen to train in the ground-breaking Swimming Nature method. Applicants will need to attend an in-water interview to demonstrate they can swim to a high standard. Other requirements include:

- An ASA Level 2 or an STA Full Swimming Instructor Qualification or the equivalent international qualification
- Exceptional communication skills and experience in a customer-facing/service environment
- A current lifesaving qualification (preferred although we can provide this if necessary)
- Excellent swimming ability with up-to-date knowledge of the sport
