About Us
At Greenhouse Sports, we believe every child deserves a fair chance to succeed.

Greenhouse Sports aims to develop life skills for young people in London’s most disadvantaged communities through outstanding, intensive sports programmes delivered by inspirational coaches. We use the power of sport to inspire and motivate young people so they can reach their full potential.

Our coaches work full time in mainstream secondary and Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools – and run four community clubs – to provide sports programmes across the capital that equip young people for life.

The Role
We are now recruiting two Table Tennis Head Coaches who will be based at our partner school in East London. You will work closely with the school to deliver a comprehensive high-quality coaching and mentoring programme. Working closely with the Head of PE, you will plan and deliver breakfast, lunch time and afterschool clubs, peripatetic (1:1 or small groups) sessions, supporting some curriculum lessons (where agreed with the school) and develop regular competitive opportunities for all players. In addition, you will be required to develop holiday provision during the school holidays.

As a coach, you will also work closely with the Impact Team to collect high-quality data to demonstrate the effectiveness of what we do and to quantify the difference we make to our young people. Our coaches also review the young peoples' progress and set targets for their future development.

The Person
We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilful and professional individual to work closely with the school. You will be highly passionate about the Greenhouse Sports mission, values and beliefs, helping young people learn and develop and will have strong experience of successfully delivering and project managing top quality Table Tennis programmes for young people aged 11-18 years old.

To be considered for this role you must possess a TTE Level 2 (minimum) Coaching Qualification and have experience of working with young people in a school or club setting. You will demonstrate strong mentoring skills, as well as being a confident and capable IT user. In addition, you will demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational skills needed to effectively plan and manage the programme and capture all relevant data in a timely manner. Greenhouse Sports is committed to Safeguarding and you will ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and will maintain accurate records of all registered participants, staff and volunteers at all planned sessions.
