Course description:
Future proof your career through professional preparation for management or leadership positions across the global sport industry.

This course is aimed at graduates aspiring to work in sports business or management positions in an international industry and professionals working in sport organisations who want to expand their management skills and knowledge to improve their career prospects. This is an exciting programme putting you at the heart of the learning experience. You will challenge and critique current issues and debates of leadership, sponsorship, global events and the governance of sport. You will blend academic scholarship and applied practice through engagement with guest speakers and sports organisations with an international profile.

An international field visit presents an opportunity to engage in cross-cultural activities and witness the impacts of sport. A Professional Placement enables you to demonstrate and enhance your professional sports management competencies in a live setting. The programme culminates with you developing critical insight and expertise through a research study in your own chosen sports specialism. Available full-time or part-time.
