HOURS: 37 Per Week

Shire Hall Monmouth and Caldicot Castle, however, this role is expected to support the Old Station Tintern and Chepstow Tourist Information Centre. In the event of a change in base no relocation or disturbance expenses will be paid.

The Purpose of this Role:
Leading the Visit Monmouthshire’s offer the post is responsible for operational performance, visitor attendance and maximising the income streams of Monmouthshire’s Visitor Attractions namely Chepstow Tourist Information Centre, Caldicot Castle and Country Park, Tintern Old Station and Shire Hall Monmouth.

You will have previous experience of working with members of the public and managing teams of staff including events.

Hours may include daytime, evenings and weekends.

Most of all you will be able to demonstrate a high quality of service delivery in a relevant field of work, excellent customer care, energy, enthusiasm and commitment.

We are seeking to appoint a Marketing Director to lead the team of Central Marketing and Regional Marketing Managers (field based) and work with key business stakeholders to deliver a highly effective marketing strategy. Whilst we are looking for a talented marketeer, confident in shaping and delivering the marketing strategy, you will also need to be a “doer” and implement plans and activities that contribute to sustainable profitable growth. A new role, this is an opportunity to have real impact on our commercial success. You will be a highly skilled marketing manager with a successful track record of developing marketing strategy, as well as execution of marketing plans and activities. You will have experience in a multi-site operation, customer service sector, ideally leisure / hospitality / retail, and be able to demonstrate your skills in market segmentation, digital marketing and lead generation.

The role is Worcester based but with flexible working and regular travel to sites.
