With seven state-of-the-art gyms across Tameside, including our new 24/7 gym iTrain in Dukinfield, Active Tameside offers the best equipped, best value health and fitness memberships in the area. We also operate four exciting family attraction centres and will soon be launching an Attractions Annual pass.

We are currently recruiting for two ambitious people to join our highly successful Business Development Team.

You have got to love the challenge of showing people how our lifestyle packages can support them to achieve their goals and get excited at the prospect of doing this, as you’re one of the team that’s responsible for the growth of the membership base, through new member sales and keeping the current ones.

In order to do this, we’re looking for target driven, ambitious and self-motivated sales people with excellent interpersonal skills to join our successful team.

You’ll be required to communicate with our members through a number of channels including: phone, email and face-to-face interaction, therefore strong communication skills and high levels of enthusiasm are essential for this role! You should be confident, customer focused and capable of working in a team environment to achieve results.

The Y Club is proud to be Manchester City Centres largest and friendliest health club.

We are currently recruiting for somebody to join our Membership Consultants Team. We’re looking for target driven, ambitious and self-motivated sales person with excellent interpersonal skills to join our sales team. You will be part of a team that’s responsible for the growth of the membership base through new member sales and retention. You should be confident, customer focused and capable of working in a team environment and alone to achieve results.

We are really seeking that special personality that has the ability to understand the sales process in the fitness industry.

The role involves:
- Your main structure of work will reside around Lead Generation, Call Prospecting
- To conduct sales tours of the facilities
- To conduct a needs analysis with all prospective members
- To be responsible for the management of the prospecting database
- Working to targets
- To conduct outreach work

Requirements:
- Team player with good people skills and a high level of enthusiasm and commitment
- Money motivated, persuasive and aware of sales processes.
- Excellent communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Sales experience
