Rushcliffe Arena is looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic, target driven, confident Membership Adviser to join our team at our modern, brand new state of the art leisure centre situated in West Bridgford, Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to join a high profile, professional organisation with excellent career prospects.

Rushcliffe Arena is a state of the art facility comprising of a 25 metre swimming pool, teaching pool and splash area,120 station fitness suite, 2 x group exercise studios,1 x indoor cycling studio,4 x court sports hall, sauna and steam room, 3 x squash courts, 6 x rink indoor bowls hall, snooker room and cafe.

This key role will involve working to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets whilst ensuring compliance with company procedures. You will need to be proactive and able to continually seek new opportunities to create leads as well as complete professional membership calls, tours and ultimately sales. The role will also include customer care and enhancing the service delivery to our customers.

We are keen to speak to candidates with previous sales experience who can also evidence they have successfully achieved and worked towards sales targets, however, this is not essential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Hengrove Park Leisure Centre as a Casual Climbing Coach.

Situated in South Bristol, Hengrove Park Leisure Centre is a state of the art leisure facility with a 50 Metre International Pool, Teaching Pool, Indoor Sports Hall, Climbing Wall, 180 station Health and Fitness Suite, Group Exercise Studios, Health Suite and large Cafe. The Centre generates in excess of ½ million visits per annum and has a Health & Fitness Membership base in excess of 4,000.

The successful applicant will be a personable, enthusiastic and outgoing individual, with a passion for climbing. You will have existing experience of coaching and teaching a wide range of ages and abilities and as a natural leader be able to motivate and most of all have fun!

The successful applicant must hold a recognised climbing qualification in accordance with the BMC and as a minimum the Climbing Wall Award (CWA) - just updated to the Climbing Wall Instructor (CWI).

Some recognised qualifications are:

CWLA -Climbing Wall Lead Award (CWLA) -Single Pitch Award (SPA) - Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI) Mountain Leader (ML), MIA or MIC. Additional qualifications and experience will be advantageous.

Parkwood Leisure is on the hunt for three enthusiastic, proactive and all round go getters to join our marketing team, as Regional Marketing Managers. This is a new role and is your chance to shape the region's marketing activities, taking ownership for a key region, managing all marketing routes.

What you’ll do
You will be the ”go to” person for Leisure operations for all things marketing. You will work in tandem with the Head office Marketing Team and key stakeholders at each site in your region to deliver high quality and creative brand strategy campaigns to increase awareness and increase the number of people using our centres. Providing direction, oversight and coaching on the delivery of marketing plans and activities to the individual Centres in your region, this role is the perfect opportunity help to drive our business forward.

This broad and creative role will have you working in the region advising the Centre on their marketing strategy, supporting marketing plans, creating template marketing collateral and branded content to support the overall sales strategy and client facing team. You will be expected to take part in site visits with regional teams to discuss all upcoming projects, events and meetings that will require support. You will have the full support of a team of experienced marketeers, whilst you build close links with stakeholders and other departments within the organisation.

North Devon Leisure Centre is based in the heart of Barnstaple. It comprises of three swimming pools, 100 station fitness suite, dance studio, sports hall, squash courts, bowls hall, crèche & holiday club to name just a few of the facilities on site.

This key role will report to the Centre Manager and will involve the day-to-day management of the facility, taking full responsibility of the centre at key times to include health and safety, customer care and managing staff. The post holder will take a lead role in developing and promoting an exciting and innovative leisure programme to increase the usage and profitability of the centre.

The ability to lead and motivate a team is paramount. A comprehensive understanding of health & safety is essential along with an NPLQ qualification, Pool Plant Operators qualification and First Aid at Work certificate. A recognised Leisure Management qualification or equivalent vocational qualification would be desirable.

The working hours will be based on a shift pattern which includes Bank Holiday and weekend working. The successful candidate will be dynamic, be able to demonstrate problem-solving attributes and be able to think on their feet. You will be able to manage a team and ensure the sound operation and safety of your team and customers during your duty shift. You will be delegated specific areas of responsibility for which you will be accountable.

The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge of the leisure industry, excellent communication skills, flexibility and a commitment to customer service. This position is subject to a DBS check.
