The Spa Therapist will be responsible for the following duties:

Reporting directly to the Spa Treatment Manager the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the luxury sectors. The ability to keep accurate and up-to-date records and statistics on the Spa - Knowledge in the financial side of spa management like understanding P&L Reports and Budgeting basics, Sales & Marketing side of the spa-like preparing Spa Demographic reports and other sales reports of services and retail products from Reservation Assistant e.t.c., as well as of Spa employees.
5. The ability to effectively integrate The Spa with the Resort operations and in accordance with Spa trends.
6. The ability to interact with guests, providing full knowledge and assistance for maximum guest usage in a friendly but unobtrusive manner.
7. The ability to respond properly in any Resort emergency or safety situation.

Departmental

1. The ability to schedule staff and complete payroll records in accordance with budgeted guidelines.
2. The ability to issue recommendations regarding the annual operating budget, capital investment budget, operating planning and further periodic evaluations of financial performance, including reports on sales and operations with supporting statistical data.
3. The ability to contribute to meeting or exceeding retail and spa treatment revenue targets.
4. The ability to take initiatives in developing skills and adding knowledge on new spa treatments and products.
5. The ability to review all suggestions and comments from guests and make necessary adjustments.
6. The ability to keep accurate and up-to-date records and statistics on the Spa as well as of Spa employees.
7. The ability to develop all operation manuals for department and implement training programs to ensure the growth of the department.

13. The ability to interview and hire new employees and ensure they are correctly trained and take corrective action as required.
14. The ability to convey clear instructions and guidance to staff and establish working relationships that attain a high level of effective employee morale.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for qualified, highly professional and ambitious Beauty Therapists to join our award-winning Health and Beauty spa. Here, you will join like-minded colleagues providing an extensive range of treatments and therapies to our guests in the most beautiful of settings.

Benefiting from innovative treatment partners, you will work with some of the best products in the industry, including Elemis, Decléor, Bliss and many others. Regular training and beauty brand updates will be provided, so this could also prove to be a unique opportunity for you too.

Using your knowledge, you will assist our guests to select the perfect items from our comprehensive retail offering so excellent communication skills will be required.

We set high standards and excellence is at the heart of everything that we do; you will, therefore, be passionate about delivering outstanding service to each and every guest.

In order to look after the health and wellbeing of our Therapists, we operate massage limitation.

HOURS OF WORK

We have various part-time contracts available between 40 and 128 hours per 4 week period, working on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

You will be required to work 8-hour shifts, with working hours falling between 9.45am and 8.15pm Monday through to Sunday. You will, therefore, be required to work a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend shifts which will include some public/bank holidays on a rota basis. You will be required to work 2.5 weekends in 4.

Essential requirements:

-NVQ Level 2 and 3, IHBC City and Guilds, CIDESCO or equivalent qualification
-At least 1 years work experience in a salon or 6 months within a spa environment
