Danish furniture company Brdr. Krüger will showcase a range of new and existing pieces at international interiors show, IMM Cologne.

Brdr. Krüger will showcase a number of pieces, including the Ferdinand Lounge chair, the Theodor Dining chair, the Bølling Tray table, the TRIIO table series, the Pauline bar stool and the Lune lamp.

The Ferdinand Lounge chair was created in partnership with Danish design-studio OEO Studio, and is named for Brdr. Krüger co-founder Ferdinand Krüger. The chair’s backrest and frame effortlessly melt together in a bold and contemporary design that combines classic craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques.

The award-winning Theodor chair is another collaboration with OEO Studio. Named for Theodor Krüger, it is a modern take on a traditional Danish chair, and was inspired by the Danish golden era. It is made from oiled oak with a textile seat.

For the TRIIO table series, Brdr. Krüger worked closely with Danish architect Hans Bølling, who originally sketched the tables in 1958. Released in 2017, the TRIIO table series is available as a coffee table, side table and dining table, and features a timeless, classic design.

The Pauline bar stool will be showcased in both smoked and oiled oak with a brown leather seat. It was made in partnership with OEO Studio and features a slender silhouette for a timeless aesthetic.

The Bølling Tray table was originally designed by Hans Bølling in 1963. Working closely with the architect Brdr. Krüger have updated this Danish classic for a modern audience. The table features two reservable trays in different colour ways that can be alternated to change the look of the piece. It can be used as a bar cart, side table or serving trolley, and will be exhibited in both oiled and smoked oak.

The Lune lamp was designed with Norwegian designer Sverre Uhnger. It combines traditional techniques with natural materials and modern technology. It is available as both a table and pendant lamp and features a solid oak, round lamp shade and an LED light source.

IMM Cologne will take place at Koelnmesse later this month, between 15 and 21 January 2018.
