Center Parcs Sherwood Forest will host the inaugural Spa Conference, organised by Spa Life UK, on 10 November 2010.

The one-day conference is designed to improve the quality of spa education, information and advice to the UK's 'diverse and rapidly developing' spa industry.

The event will be opened by Martin Dalby, CEO of Center Parcs, who will outline how the introduction of spas has positively affected his own facilities.

The conference will provide a programme of best practice, education and CPD across three separate tracks – operations, strategic management and sales and marketing.

Conference director Mike Fitch, from Topaz Consulting, said: "This is the first conference of its type that deals with the fast growing spa market across all the leisure sectors in the UK – residential spas, day spas, hotels, holiday venues, fitness clubs, and leisure centres."

The conference is aimed at all spa & wellness professionals from every business sector involved in spa operations including; spa, hospitality, health & fitness, local authority leisure clubs and salon owners /operators. Prices start from only £150 + vat for early registration.

The event's organiser Spa Life UK is a new trading entity set up by Topaz Consulting.
