DC Leisure has announced that its contract to operate River Park leisure centre on behalf of Winchester City Council has been extended for three and a quarter years.
The leisure centre, which DC Leisure has been responsible for since 1992, is due to undergo a £1.4m refurbishment between April and July this year.
The refurbishment will include introducing new showers and updating some of the gym equipment with new Precor and TechnoGym machines. River Park’s facilities include a 25m swimming pool, Kinetika gym, floodlit artificial pitch, sauna, steamroom and squash courts.
