ER 2015 plans 'best Rugby World Cup yet'
England Rugby 2015 (ER 2015) has said that it is confident of delivering the "best Rugby World Cup yet" as planning and preparation work for the tournament gather pace.
A new headquarters for the event organiser has now been formally unveiled at Twickenham Stadium in London, while a number of appointments have been made to the board.
Ex-Football Association chief executive officer Ian Watmore and former chief executive of InterContinental Hotels Group Andrew Cosslett are among those to join the ER 2015 team.
Cosslett will head the board until an independent chair is appointed, with a series of "key" milestones - including the confirmation of venues - scheduled for this year.
ER 2015 chief executive officer Paul Vaughan said: "[The tournament] will be a fantastic shop window for our sport which will help the legacy and a real boost for the UK economy."
