The Gaelic Athletic Association has unveiled it newly refurbished museum at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

The refurbishments came at a cost of €1.5m (£1.28m, US$1.94m) and are the second part of a two-phase renovation. This final part of renovation now includes the official GAA Hall of Fame, a gallery of modern-day heroes and legends, eight interactive skill zones, sound booths showing historical GAA clips and a large collection of historical pieces.

The initial redevelopment in 2010 saw a new café, temporary exhibition space, interactive games are and trophy display added.

The museum is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ireland, rated in Trip Advisor's top five visitor attractions in Dublin for the past two years. It has brought more than 108,000 people in 2013, with 35 per cent travelling from overseas.
