Details have been revealed about this year's student 'Spa of the Future' competition, as run by the annual Global Spa Summit (GSS).

Two schools have been selected to compete: the University of Southern California (USC) School of Architecture in the US and the Istanbul Technical University in Turkey.

Each school will send four students to the summit to present their idea and design on spa architecture, to be judged by a top panel comprising a range of spa industry experts.

The fourth annual GSS will take place at the Çiragan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul, Turkey, in May. Each summit features top level business executives from around the world and focuses on moving the spa and wellness sectors forward. This year's theme will be 'Bridges Worth Building'.
