Invicta Leisure expands Club Indigo Brand
The new club indigo brand, launched in Bradford, Cwmbran and Manchester by health and fitness club operator Invicta Leisure last year, has been so successful that three new clubs are being developed.
The new clubs, based in Worthing, Weston-Super-Mare and Ilford, have been designed by Zynk Design Consultants and are due to open in the spring of 2002.
The Ilford club will be 33,000 sq. ft; the largest health and fitness club Invicta has built to date and will focus on offering increased spa facilities.
The club indigo brand was designed to be less family orientated than Invicta's other outlets, and to provide contemporary, work centred and comfortable health and fitness suites. Chief executive of Invicta Leisure, Kevin McCollum commented: I am delighted with the successful roll out of club indigo in the North of England and Wales. Following Ilford, we are looking forward to exploring further possible developments in the capital.
