The commercial leisure operator, Leisure Connection, is to manage three of Hackney's leisure facilities under a partnership with the council.
The company will take control of Stoke Newington West Reservoir, the King's Hall and Britannia Sports Centres, and Clissold Leisure Centre from next month under a long-term partnership, which will run for 15 years.
Significant investment in the existing sites is planned to maintain and develop a safe and pleasant leisure environment for the local community, said Glynn Mellor, CEO of Leisure Connection.
