A new resort spa is scheduled to launch at the Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland in early June.

Designed by RPW Design, the spa has 11 treatment rooms, a manicure and pedicure room and a lounge connected to three treatment rooms for guests wanting more privacy.

There will also be a relaxation lounge, swimming pool and couples’ suite. The interior has open log fires and chic tweed and tartan fabrics.

Signature treatments will use Kerstin Florian International and the Highland Soap company. They include a Generosity Massage, which provides a donation to The Fife Coast and Countryside Trust, and the Crest of the Cliff therapy, which uses traditional Celtic healing ingredients such as wild nettle and heather.

The Fairmont St Andrews hotel sits in 520 acres of open coastline. It is sister property to The Savoy in London, UK and boasts panoramic views of the River Tay estuary, the North Sea and the skyline of St Andrews.
