Macdonald Hotels teams up with chefs
Macdonald Hotels & Resorts is opening two chef-partnership restaurants, for the first time in its history, at the Macdonald Compleat Angler hotel in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
The Riverside Restaurant and Alfresco Brasserie at the establishment have both undergone a £1m, three-month redesign by RDD Interior Architectural Design.
The revamped restaurants have been renamed Dean Timpson at the Compleat Angler and Bowaters Restaurant.
Dean Timpson at the Compleat Angler – a 36-cover restaurant overlooking the River Thames and Marlow Weir – is a joint venture with chef-patron Dean Timpson.
Bowaters Restaurant – named in honour of Lord and Lady Bowater who owned the hotel (1932–1980) – is a 90-cover restaurant with a riverside setting offering al fresco dining led by chef Mark Constable.
Both eateries are due to open in May. Details: www.macdonald-hotels.co.uk/compleatangler
