Matrix creates new advisory panel and appoints VP
Matrix Fitness Systems has bolstered its senior management line-up and created a new advisory panel.
First on the list of new recruits is Daniel Clayton, former group development director at Virgin Active and Technogym’s MD in Asia, who joins as vice president for strategic accounts.
Clayton says: “In an industry that’s seen little change in business practices over the last decade, I was excited by the freshness of the Matrix proposition.”
The new Matrix Advisory Panel (MAP) consists of David Seymour, former sales training manager for LA Fitness and sales director of Aspria; brand consultant Kevin Wright; and sports medical doctor Tim Anstiss, a former international athlete and gladiators contender who is now a government advisor on wellbeing at work.
Matrix managing director Jon Johnston says of the new appointments: “I’m delighted we’re attracting industry leaders of this calibre.
“We’re fully committed to producing products and services that are defined by what’s good for our customer, not just what’s good for our business. Our appointees’ outstanding abilities compliment that vision perfectly.”
