Mark Perkins has joined the senior management team at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh, Scotland, as the new director of the hotel’s One Spa.

Perkins was previously director of spa and leisure for the Fairmont Resort in St Andrews, Scotland, and is an ex-RAF policeman.

He said: “I am looking forward to maintaining and building upon the very high standards at One Spa by continuing to develop the spa’s products and services. There are some exciting plans for the future and I’m looking forward to spearheading these new initiatives.”

The six-storey building, with three split levels of spa, offers a variety of holistic spa treatments and houses a wide range of facilities including an Ozone swimming pool, rooftop hydropool and serail mud chamber.
