Nottingham's sports venues and hotels have teamed up with Profile Nottingham to offer reduced price sporting breaks for visitors.
The campaign, launched this month, has attracted five of the city's hotels including the Ramada Jarvis Nottingham and the Nottingham Moat House to offer special overnight rates to visitors who regularly come to Nottingham to watch and take part in sporting events.
'Nottingham has a number of national and international sporting venues that attract thousands of fans,' said Michael Judd, tourism executive of Profile Nottingham. 'This promotion is designed to encourage them to come to stay for longer to enjoy everything else Nottingham has to offer.' Prices for the sports break offer start from £27.50 per night.
