The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) has selected the CLM consortium – consisting of environmental and engineering consultant CH2M HILL, construction firm Laing O’Rourke and project management company Mace – for the role of delivery partner for the 2012 Olympics.

CLM will be responsible for making sure the venues and infrastructure for the London Games are delivered on time.

Culture secretary Tessa Jowell said: “I believe that CLM will be a strong addition to the 2012 team – working with the ODA to ensure that the design of the Olympic Park and the construction of the venues and infrastructure goes smoothly and is completed in good time.”

Between them, the three companies in the consortium have worked on five previous Olympic and Winter Olympic Games and CLM’s chief executive, Ron Brooks, said: “CLM’s single focus is to help the ODA deliver world-class facilities with a legacy to match.” Details: www.alastinglegacy.co.uk
