REPs sets date for convention
The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) is to hold its first ever all-day convention for members on 8 December 2005, in London.
Members of the Register, directors, managers and representatives from training providers are expected to attend.
The day, which is being run in conjunction with Skillsactive, will include member focus sessions, top-line guest presenters from sport and fitness and workshop sessions as well as hosting the Exceptional Achievement Awards and the release of the Working in Fitness 2005 survey.
All the technical sessions will carry CPD credit points.
Alongside the morning sessions will be meetings of the Professional Development Board, the UK Coaching Certificate and a meeting on Apprenticeships as well as opportunity for the new Sector Skills Agreement to be discussed.
This will then lead into a drinks reception and Skillsactive’s Patrons annual dinner and a re-run of the awards.
