The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) has marked yet another extraordinary milestone with the registration of its 17,500th member.

As well as boasting excellent renewal rates, the Register is well ahead of its targets with regard to first-time registrations.

Registrar, Cliff Collins, puts this success down to a number of important factors. He said: “I am thrilled that the Register is doing so well and what we’ve accomplished so far is certainly helped by our excellent team.

“We have also been greatly bolstered by the support of big names in the fitness industry and the government. The continued backing of organisations like the Fitness Industry Association (FIA), for example, has helped give the Register the credibility it needed.

“Plus, of course, our members have really taken to the idea of registration and encouraged their peers to get involved.

"The past two years have been an incredible time and we hope that we can continue to build on these achievements and explore new avenues.”

REPs membership continues to grow rapidly, standing at 17,596 as of today.
