Revolution opening
Inventive Leisure's opening this week of its flagship branch, the vodka bar Revolution in London's Soho, is the latest addition to the now 24-strong chain.
The 2,500sq ft site with a 300 capacity, has been designed by the HPW partnership, previously responsible for the Revolution sites in Newcastle, Sheffield and Glasgow and retail outlets such as Warehouse and The Science Museum.
The venue has been created to reflect its Eastern European inspiration and has a 14 metre long blued steel bar surrounded by gold leaf with pitch pine floors, said to originate from an 18th century battle ship with chandelier lighting.
The prodigious vodka range includes 60 premium and over 30 flavoured vodkas, with infusions such as White Swiss Chocolate and Glacier Mint. Both a full and tapas style menu is on offer including Zakouski starters and the hallmark Kitchin Sink Sandwich.
A further 60 sites are planned over the next four years.
