Olympic medalist Roger Black is set to open the 10th annual SIBEC UK and Europe forum in Portugal this November.

For 14 years, Black represented Great Britain as an individual 400m runner and as a member of the 4x400m relay team, winning European, Commonwealth and World Championship gold medals.

More than 50 companies have already committed to this year’s forum, which is operated by McLean Events and lead by event director Nigel Wallace.

Of those that attended the 2005 event in Malta, 97 per cent of operators said they expected to generate business with the suppliers they met at the conference.

SIBEC UK and Europe will take place on 1-4 November at the Grande Real Santa Eulalia resort in Albufeira, Portugal. Details: www.mcleanevents.com
