This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve.

The role of a Commercial Administrator is to provide administrative support to the Commercial department in Parkwood Leisure Head Office to facilitate the smooth running of its functions, and various other ad hoc duties as required.

The Opportunity
• Supporting the commercial Department
• Answering incoming calls, taking detailed messages and responding to/transferring in an appropriate manner, dealing with queries
• Meeting and hosting visitors / maintenance contractors
• controlling incoming supply chain paperwork and ensuring compliance prior to authorisation
• Booking maintenance contractors for works within the office
• ensuring that the pool cars are controlled and maintained in line with company procedures
• Assisting in the production and controlling of tender documentation
• Ensuring the Commercial drive is kept up to date and information is stored correctly
• General ad-hoc duties - filing, scanning, photocopying, archiving, correspondence
• Maintain records, filing systems and computer files
• Raising and processing orders
• Developing information and systems
• maintaining the building compliance/maintenance logs and records

Overall role description

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to develop within a multi-disciplined Finance Department. Reporting to the Head of Facilities, you will:

- Manage supplier/procurement relationships, including tendering of core supplies, ongoing assessment of contractual performance and ensuring all suppliers remain compliant with legislation
- Monitoring of purchasing across the estate to ensure best value is achieved and all operational staff are trained on purchasing standards
- Ongoing reporting of purchasing spend, along with management of capital expenditure budgets
- Supporting the business with new contract tendering and mobilisation

We need an individual who can demonstrate the ambition and drive necessary to make a difference to our organisation.

Skills and Experience
- Relevant Degree/Qualification (or equivalent or proven purchasing track record)
- CIPS qualified
- Confidence in communicating at all levels within the organisation
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills
- Able to deal with difficult situations professionally and with diplomacy
- Team player with the ability to work without direction
- A decision maker capable of “thinking on your feet”

As a flagship centre, Hengrove Park Leisure Centre boasts a 50 metre Olympic Swimming Pool, 180 station Fitness Gym, 2 group fitness studios, dedicated group cycling studio, 4 court Sports Hall & cafe, This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop within the leisure industry

We are looking for passionate, forward-thinking, motivated Casual Membership Advisor to support our Sales team. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a sales role, but this is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic team and progress your sales career through our continual development and training programmes. You will be responsible for selling a wide range of products but in particular our Fitness and Health memberships. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and outgoing, eager to make a difference and be driven by targets and goals.

As well as the above, you will be on the front line of customer service both in the centre and on the phone, helping potential and existing members with any problems or issues they may have.

You’ll need to be confident in approaching our customers and have an eye for detail. You will need to provide exceptional service through delivering our company philosophy of Quality, Care and Excellence.

You will need to work a three-week rolling rota, mainly evenings and weekends.

Job description:
Located in a stunning Peak district and Staffordshire Moorlands this contract has 7 facilities comprising of swimming pool, sports and gym complexes.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager the successful candidate will be required to assist with carrying out general maintenance around the facility including painting, decorating.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible, reliable and have proven knowledge of all aspects of maintenance requirements. Experience of working in a leisure industry would be advantageous but not essential.

As part of their role, the candidate must ensure that Health & Safety regulations are followed at all times. The sucsessful canditate will have an electrician related qualification or will be offered day release to college to complete.
