Halo Leisure’s partnership with PlayFootball is having a significant positive impact
12 Jan 2024
Halo Leisure partnered with PlayFootball in 2022, with a clear brief to the PlayFootball team - to optimise revenue and community participation outcomes from their all-weather pitches.
The partnership has had a significant impact, reporting a 50% YOY increase in revenue and significantly more community participation.
PlayFootball are an established AWP managed services company who also work with other Leisure Trust such as GLL and Abbeycroft Leisure.
Scott Rolfe, CEO at Halo Leisure, said: “Having a specialist partner who completely focuses on our all-weather pitches has taken our revenue and participation outcomes to a whole new level, and enabled us to repurpose and save overhead. All of which has fallen to our bottom-line contribution. What really caught our eye was their understanding of our AWP business, their initial discovery work was very reassuring, giving us the confidence that their plan was robust. Our local management teams are very happy with the service provided by PlayFootball, the integration was quick with no disruption, and our customers now receive a more consistent experience. Overall, we have been absolutely delighted with this initiative”.
Steve Bennett, Chief Commercial Officer at PlayFootball, commented:
“I am delighted that the partnership with Halo Leisure is thriving. Our ability to focus on their all-weather pitches has enabled Scott and his team to focus on other key business areas. Our expertise in all-weather pitches has enabled us to provide Halo with unrivalled services which include; Demand creation, booking management and customer relations, online booking, payment collection, and customer retention. All of which is underpinned by a data foundation and best in class tech infrastructure.
Steve concluded: “We are extremely confident about the positive impact we make for our Leisure Trust partners; the outcomes speak for themselves. We are uniquely placed to support the industry and welcome a conversation with anyone looking at ways to optimise their all-weather pitches”
