Burnley Leisure releases new workouts in style
05 Feb 2020
On Tuesday 21st January Burnley Leisure presented the latest Les Mills workouts which were a huge success with over 300 people taking part in one night.
The new release workouts featured three exciting programmes, Sh'bam, GRIT Athletic and GRIT cardio. Our workouts were led by rock star presenters Adam Papowski and Anthony Oxford who present around the world for Les Mills. This paired with Burnley Leisure's inspirational and dynamic fitness instructors, cutting-edge music and a concert-quality lighting and sound system, created the perfect workout atmosphere.
Kicking off the party with the highly popular Sh'bam, featuring the programmes brand new release, members engaged in dance routines from hip hop to carnival and finished with a little jazz number. Offering a variety to all no matter what your fitness level, this created the perfect party atmosphere.
Then it was time for our guest element GRIT. A more high intensity, sports conditioning, interval style training programme using a step and body weight, catering for our members who wanted more intensity than party. With the electric atmosphere still in place, the members were able to push themselves to give their 100% best effort, despite the workout being a real challenge.
Burnley Leisure is going from strength to strength, when it comes to inspiring fitness trends. We motivate, we inspire and we drive people to not only work out, but to enjoy working out. With each individual members needs being our main focus, we are able to ensure our workouts are accessible and fun for all. Our members are not just a number; they are key part of our fitness family.
Burnley Leisure's Operations Manager Sarah Drinkwater said "The fitness team were overwhelmed with the support and attendance from our members on the Tuesday evening. Listening to feedback from members from our last launch in October 2019 and making small tweaks made this event even more of a success.
The overall atmosphere was amazing with members sweating, smiling and really excelling themselves and the event couldn't have gone any better. I'm unbelievably proud of the full team, motivating members and being able to provide the ultimate workout experiences, we can't wait for our next event."
Burnley Leisure's Area Manager Scott Bryce said "Our members yet again did us proud with another fantastic turnout for our evening of fitness; we really appreciate their support and was also an opportunity for our new members to be welcomed into the Burnley Leisure workout family. A special mention to master trainers Adam and Anthony from Les Mills, who along with our award winning team gave the ultimate workout experiences in a fun and welcoming evening".
