Trilogy Gyms in Northampton giving FREE access to NHS employees on ‘Thank You’ weekend

Northampton’s NHS heroes who have worked throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic are being offered free access to all Trilogy gyms for two days as the business says ‘Thank You’ to them this July.
Trilogy Leisure, which operates Cripps Recreation Centre, Danes Camp, Duston Sports Centre, Lings Forum, The Mounts Baths and the Forum Cinema as well as Berzerk Soft Play Centre is offering free access to all Trilogy gyms for NHS employees as part of national ‘Thank You’ day and NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers Day on the 4th and 5th of July 2021.
“When the Coronavirus pandemic gripped the UK and utterly changed our lives, on the front line were our NHS Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, plus platoons of critical NHS workers.” said John Fletcher, Managing Director of Trilogy Leisure. “Therefore to say ‘Thank You’ and to celebrate their amazing effort we are offering free access to all Trilogy gyms for all NHS employees.”
There are two national thank you days being organised at the beginning of July. Thank you day is to say thank you to everyone who has helped during the last year (https://thankyouday.org.uk/) and will be the 4th July. The next day (5th July) is NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers Day (https://www.nhsfrontlineday.org/)
On the two days NHS workers will be able to have:
* Free access to all Trilogy gyms across the two days.
* No need to book, just turn up with a valid NHS work ID.
* Gym waiver form to be completed at reception on arrival.
“We are genuinely really pleased to be able to open the doors of our gyms at no cost to NHS employees for two days. We encourage our modern day heroes to just turn up, show us a valid NHS ID and then enjoy our gyms.” John Fletcher continued.
UK Thank You Day started from just 13 individuals proposing a Thank You Day. The idea is now supported by hundreds of organisations across the country, ranging from the Scouts and Guides to Rotary and the Royal Voluntary Service, NHS, the Football Association and the Church of England.
It’s got the backing of celebrities, religious leaders and sports stars, local councils and schools, businesses and communities throughout the UK.
“We understand that more than most, thousands of NHS workers, through their work and commitment, have had to put to one side their own mental and emotional health over the last 2 years.” John Fletcher said. “While we recognise that it will take time for our community to return any sense of normality, we genuinely hope that NHS workers will take advantage of this offer of two days free use of our gyms. We hope that it plays a small part in all of us saying thank you for all that you have done and all that you are doing.”
