Seriously Social Awards 2026 – nominations now OPEN

Community Leisure UK (CLUK) has opened nominations for this year’s Seriously Social Awards.
Celebrating the sector’s Seriously Social heart, impact and value - the 2026 Awards will be held at the City Halls and Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow on November 25 November.
Just like CLUK’s campaign of the same name, the awards reflect charities and social enterprises commitment to creating positive social change through key themes.
This year’s Seriously Social Award categories are:
Putting People Above Profit - Health and Wellbeing - The Community - Spotlight Award for Outstanding Volunteer - Employment & Skills - Spotlight Award for Outstanding Employee – Inclusion - The Environment & Lifetime Achievement Award

The deadline for nominations is Friday 21 August.
This year’s Seriously Social Campaign was held at the start of June and saw amazing stats, social value figures and case studies light up social media, explaining and showcasing the fantastic contribution charities and social enterprises make to individuals and the wider community as well as their contribution to local authority and national policy.
Kirsty Cumming, CEO of Community Leisure UK, said: “It’s three years since we launched Seriously Social and every year our sector gets better showcasing their successes as part of Seriously Social Week. Each time we have done this I am blown away by the incredible initiatives and work of our members, but also how these stories bring to life the importance of inclusion, community, health, employment and environment. One thing that really struck me this year through the campaign was the human stories - people sharing their experiences, their personal stories have been so powerful. The collective stats and impact are incredible, but these numbers aren’t just statistics, they represent lives changed for the better. That really came across in this year’s campaign and hopefully it will also come across the in the Award submissions.”
