Join us as a Gymnastics Coach and you’ll become a valued member of our highly qualified, passionate, and dynamic team.

This is a part-time permanent post, working 7 hours per week which includes evenings and weekends. There are set days each week, however this may change to best suit our programme and centre.

Your role

As an Assistant Gymnastics Coach, you’ll work closely with other coaches and our Sport and Physical Activity Programme Officer to assist in the delivery of recreational gymnastics sessions.

You’ll work alongside the Head Gymnastics Coach to deliver safe and engaging sessions.

You'll be responsible for assisting in the set up of equipment and will be able to identify and report and safety concerns.

As Jump Leicester is an official British Gymnastics Leisure Centre Partner, you’ll be using the new RISE Gymnastics programme and awards in your sessions and will be able to regularly assess members against set criteria.

Being an important part of the Jump Leicester team, your feedback and advice during our team meetings will always be appreciated.

What you'll need

You must hold either a UKCC Level 1 Women’s Artistic or General Gymnastics qualification, or a Gymnastics Activity Instructor Qualification.

With previous coaching experience, you’ll have a good understanding of the sport and be able to assist the Head coach when preparing for each session.

Using excellent communication skills, you’ll deliver high levels of customer service and be able to appropriately deal with irate or distressed customers.

You’ll be able to motivate and encourage members of all ages to ensure everyone feels confident within your sessions.
