Carmarthenshire County Council's Sport & Leisure Section's ambition is to get more people, more active more often making Carmarthenshire a place:

Candidates should also be qualified to a minimum of Reps level 2 and working towards attaining Level 3 Advanced/Personal Trainer status. Current group exercise qualifications and confidence to deliver classes to large groups would also be beneficial.

Join a team that shares your passion for health and wellbeing and put your knowledge in to practice by working with a diverse range of clientele, assessing their needs, developing fitness plans and challenges, monitoring progress and performance, and helping clients to become more active, more often.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Co-ordinating and developing the ‘dry-side’ provision in facilities and relevant outreach venues in East Carmarthenshire, including health & fitness and junior programming.
- Leading, co-ordinating and developing a team of staff responsible health, fitness and activity provision.
- Identifying and developing all service/business opportunities to achieve all relevant income objectives
- Taking countywide responsibility for Junior Programming - Actif Passport/Actif Club.
