énergie Fitness Clubs is an established brand in health and fitness industry offering great facilities at affordable prices.

We are looking for someone who can actively encourage our members while being focused on helping them achieve their goals.

You will need to be passionate about members needs, help, advise and train them to achieve individual goals.

You will need to be pro-active and outgoing to communicate with members and develop a professional relationship.

The role is crucial to the clubs success and you will be the first point of contact to answer queries and help members.

The main responsibilities will include gym instruction, writing exercise programmes and conducting various one-to-one appointments, including nutritional consultations.

Some administrative and sales duties will also apply at a later stage together with class instruction and face to face customer interaction.

Minimum Level 2 qualification in Gym Instruction, previous experience is preferable but not essential.

The qualifications to teach basic classes would be beneficial, but full training can be given.

A proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills are a must, as well as the ability to work as part of a committed team.

Job Purpose

* To promote and deliver exceptional results through énergie émpower Programme

* To maintain focus on individual clients’ needs and not on your own preconceived ideas of fitness regimes and imaging

* To receive and promote great client testimonials on the outcomes of their ongoing personal training experience

* To work with colleagues to ensure that all clubs members feel that they belong with énergie

* To build on-line capacity that enables you to sustain contact with members

* To work creatively with the énergie’s Head of Fitness, Training and Innovation to devise personal training practice that surprises and delights clients.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious sales consultant to be part of a gym that is constantly growing and developing.

We are looking for a naturally proactive and polished individual who can generate fresh leads and convert them into membership sales.

As a membership sales advisor you will need an outgoing personality and be extremely confident in face-to-face meetings and on the telephone.

In this sales role you will be responsible for converting the new leads into appointments, and then closing the sale, working towards achieving challenging daily targets.

In addition to a competitive salary, there's a highly competitive bonus structure in place for hitting targets.


Our membership sales advisor will:

• Have natural sales ability.

• Be target driven with a desire and passion to exceed targets.

• Be energetic, proactive with a positive outlook and a 'can-do' attitude.

• Be excited to work closely with the club manager, owners and the rest of the team to create a member-focused gym environment.

• Be approachable and able to make prospective and existing members feel at ease.

• Personable with a sense of fun.

Our ideal candidate will need to be:

• Naturally Sales focused

• Highly self-motivated and target driven with a sense of humour, even under pressure!

• Organised - keep on top of your leads and follow up.

• Passionate about fitness, whilst being able to support the member focused culture we are developing in the club.

• Have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Due to the variety of shift patterns that include Evenings and Weekends it is important that you live within a reasonable commute to the club.


Experience:

• Sales – 1 Year

• The successful candidate would ideally, but not essentially, be REPs level 2 qualified, with industry sales experience.
