GLL is looking for a Finance Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract to to be part of our busy purchase ledger team in Woolwich, South East London.

As the UK's largest public provider of leisure and cultural services, our finance department is a busy one. As Finance Assistant, you'll be one of the first ports of call for our customers and suppliers who have queries or issues with invoices. You could be dealing with colleagues from across the business about their purchase orders or one of our many suppliers who could be a media business, catering company or even a swimming pool chemical supplier. You'll help us stay on top of our invoice payments and queries by learning to do statement reconciliation and posting of invoices to our system.

You'll have some experience of working in a busy purchase ledger team, so you'll know the importance of building and maintaining excellent supplier relationships - in fact, customer service will be your forte. You'll love the buzz of a busy office and will be happy to work with the team to stay on top of filing and printing. The volume of work that we deal with is extremely large, so you'll need to be highly-organised and able to work under pressure. Despite the quantity of invoices and queries, this is a rewarding role in a close-knit team offering great grounding for progression in purchase ledger and finance.

In return, we offer a range of benefits that you'd expect from the UK's largest leisure provider:
Pension schemes
Ride to work scheme
Discounted membership at our leisure centres
The opportunity to join the GLL Society and have a say in how we're run plus associated social events
Career pathways
Ongoing training and development to help you to be the best
If you've got excellent attention to detail, a great telephone manner, are computer-literate and have experience of processing purchase orders and invoices, apply now.

All pay rates are subject to skills, experience, qualifications and location.
