GLL, the UK's largest leisure provider, is looking for an Application Support Analyst based at our Head Office in the picturesque Royal Arsenal Riverside in Woolwich, South East London.

This is a key role that will help us to articulate a phased roll-out of the database project to an initial eight locations around the country before going live across the entire GLL estate. As Application Support Analyst, you'll deliver essential elements of the project plan such as mapping, configuration, build, training, roll-out, report building and 1st line support. The database is already in use in one location, therefore you'll take learnings from this to ensure successful roll out in the other locations. This role will work closely with both our health and client partnership development teams to gain a full understanding of how the database will be used and to define the necessary reporting and functionality. You'll ensure the database is integrated as a core application for the Application Support team.

Naturally you'll be technically-minded, but you'll also understand the needs of your non-technical colleagues and be able to translate their requirements to be able to get the most out of the system (Tiara 9). Your patience and communication skills will be useful for providing training to others who may not have used a database or online booking system before. You should have worked in an IT department doing a similar role and project planning / management experience would give you a distinct advantage. This is an IT role with a difference as your work will have a major impact on those with poor health.
