Towcester Leisure Centre seeks a Part-time Membership Sales Advisor to join the team. We are one of two leisure facilities in the South Northamptonshire Contract and consists of a 25m Swimming Pool, Leisure Pool with wave machine , Flume , 70+ station Health & Fitness Centre, 4 Court Sports Hall, Activity Hall, Cycling Studio, All Weather pitches, Crèche & Café facilities.

An opportunity has opened up in the Membership team for 16 hours per week including a Saturday or Sunday.
The role of a sales advisor is to promote and increase membership sales within the Centre, communicate directly with customers to build a stronger relationship and actively seek out new business opportunities. The sales advisor will also assist in any administrative duties required within the department.
The successful applicant will need to be a people person, confident, ambitious, enthusiastic and outgoing, eager to succeed in this competitive industry and be driven by targets and goals.
You will require a passion for the product you are selling, have a knowledge of social media advertising and be computer literate.

The successful applicant will need to be flexible, work well in a team and on their own. They must be able to work some evenings and weekends. In return they will receive full training, be eligible to join our OTE scheme and receive free use of the centres facilities.

We are looking to recruit a Fitness Instructor for Pyramids Leisure Centre. Located in the heart of Exeter, Pyramids Leisure Centre boasts great facilities including a 40 station Gym, 25m heated indoor swimming pool, Learner pool and meeting rooms.

We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and plenty of enthusiasm to play an active role on the Gym floor. To be successful in this role you will need an engaging and honest personality with a natural ability to build strong relationships, puts people at ease as well as a "can-do" attitude, and be willing to work variable hours, including some evenings and weekends. It is essential that you hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructor or Level 3 Personal Trainer certificate. It will be desirable if you hold Level 3 Exercise Referral qualification so that you can help deliver our Steps to Health Exercise Referral programme. Some of the responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with our customers and potential customers
Supervising activities in the Gym and operating the equipment in a manner consistent with safe working practice
Undertaking all day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the equipment and fittings
Devising and delivering fitness programmes

This position will allow you to develop your skills and reputation whilst enhancing safe and enjoyable usage of the facilities whilst increasing profitability.
You will manage and develop your staff to meet customer and operational requirements creating a dynamic, responsive and customer focused team through your communication and management styles.
To ensure the highest possible standards of health & safety and customer care are delivered within the Centre and to implement and oversee a health and safety focused ongoing training schedule across the centre.
To develop and promote an exciting, innovative leisure programme in order to increase the usage and profitability of the Centre.
To assume shift management responsibility for the centre to maximise the total performance of the centre and maintain the highest standards of customer care.
To organise and manage the Duty Manager and Recreational assistant team and their areas of responsibility.

The Person
It is essential that you possess excellent communication, customer and client liaison skills. Ideally you will have a NPLQ, Pool Plant Operators and a recognised qualification in leisure management.
The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of the leisure industry
Flexibility and commitment to customer service are essential.
You will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern which includes early mornings, evenings and weekends. (please note that Duty Manager shifts will be included within the role and responsibility)
Will promote and encourage a strong health and safety culture throughout the centre
Will deputise for the Centre Manager as requested
Will undertake any other duties as may be required by the Centre Manager to ensure that the business objectives of the contract are achieved.

You will be asked to work as part of the team as well as being able to take your own initiative and work individually.
This is a very demanding role and we are looking for someone who has a great eye for attention to detail and who takes pride in their work.
Experience of working in occupied properties.
Skill sets should include painting and decorating and must cover all disciplines.

We have a 35 station gym, and an 8 rinks indoor bowling green along with a restaurant and fully licensed bar

The Opportunity
Victoria Park Leisure Centre is looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, dynamic swimming instructor to work on a Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.

You will support the delivery of the swimming lesson programme at each site.

Alternative hours are also available on a number of weekdays and weekends to meet the needs of the service, so you will need to be flexible and reliable
