Whitelands Farm Sports Ground can be found on the prominent Kingsmere Development in Bicester, North Oxfordshire and boasts a full size artificial rugby / football pitch, full size grass football pitches, full size grass rugby pitches, cricket pitch, kitchen and bar facilities as well as two function rooms.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Manager to lead Whitelands Farm Sports Pavilion towards excellence.
The Pavilion Manager will form a key post in engaging with key stakeholders such as the Local Authority, Local Sports Clubs and regular hirers.
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be required to take full operational responsibility for the effective management of this facility ensuring the highest service standards and customer expectations are met.
The post holder will lead and develop the operational team to ensure that the services provided meet the requirements of the customers and the client as well as consistently driving the commercial performance of the facility.

The Person
It is essential that you possess excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
You will have a good knowledge of the sports and leisure industry.
You must have a commitment to customer service.
You will be expected to have a recognised management qualification and a number of years experience in a similar role. An up to date First Aid qualification is ideal.
A proven track record of managing similar pavilions, bars or sports facilities is desirable.
You will be required to complete a DBS check.

Exciting opportunities exist for experienced Duty Managers looking to develop their career at a high performing leisure centre. Windsor Leisure Centre is a flagship site with a 25 metre, 6 lane swimming pool, large family leisure pool with waves, 150 station ‘Expressions’ Gym, Health suite, group fitness studios, conference rooms, retail outlets, 8 court Sports Hall, cafe, All weather pitch & other indoor facilities.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Centre Manager, the successful candidate will have a passion for delivering customer excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the centre including health and safety, customer care, financial procedures and leading and managing multiple departments. The posts include evenings and weekends, worked over 40 hours per week. Each Duty Manager post is subject to its own agreed responsibilities.

The Person
An NPLQ or First Aid at Work certificate are essential and a Pool Plant Operators qualification is desirable as well as a recognised Leisure Management qualification.

The successful candidate should have previous knowledge of the leisure industry and a good level of experience of working in a very busy wet/dry facility. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a total commitment to customer service are essential. Successful applicants will be provided with full training in all aspects of this role.

Monday and Friday evenings

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the presentation and cleanliness of the Centre and assisting with setting up of activities when required. Your duties will require you to carry out cleaning tasks around the facility including the use of a cleaning machine. Health and Safety is our main priority within the centre and your role as a general assistant will adhere to all company procedures.

Full training will be given in this role, although proven competence in this area is desirable. The successful applicant will be flexible, reliable and enjoy working as part of a team.

Ensure quality and service delivery of the swimming programme is of the highest standard

To engage with key stakeholders including City of Cardiff Swimming Club, Swim Wales and the Local Authority to ensure all swimming pathways are considered

The Person
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering Aquatic based programs and be able to demonstrate strong leadership and management qualities. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with the facility management team, whilst interacting at all levels of the organisation. You must be self motivated and have the ability to work under pressure with a relentless desire to achieve targets.
