Exciting opportunities exist for experienced a Duty Manager looking to develop their career at a high performing leisure centre. It is an exciting time to join the sales team with the development of the new iconic Braywick Leisure Centre which is set to open in 2020 to replace the existing Magnet Leisure Centre. Reporting directly to the site Centre Manager, the successful candidate will be flexible, reliable, possess good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

The Person
Reporting to the Centre Manager, the successful candidate will have a passion for delivering customer excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the centre including health and safety, customer care, financial procedures and leading and managing multiple departments. The posts include evenings and weekends, worked over 40 hours per week. Each Duty Manager post is subject to its own agreed responsibilities.

An NPLQ or First Aid at Work certificate are essential and a Pool Plant Operators qualification is desirable as well as a recognised Leisure Management qualification. The successful candidate should have previous knowledge of the leisure industry and a good level of experience of working in a very busy wet/dry facility. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a total commitment to customer service are essential. Successful applicants will be provided with full training in all aspects of this role.

An opportunity has arisen to join the team at Brackley Leisure Centre as a Full-time Fitness Instructor.

We are looking for a real people person, ambitious, confident and above all able to motivate and encourage our members to achieve their goals. You will be part of the team working in our newly refurbished Fitness Centre, hours will be shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekend work.

Previous experience in working in a busy fitness environment is essential, candidates ideally must have a minimum of Fitness NVQ level 2. Also, have previous experience and certifications in delivering Group Exercise classes.

Opportunities are also available for Personal Training and Class Instruction within this role to enhance the financial package.

Full training will be provided for the successful candidate, there will also be opportunities to build a career within the leisure industry and the successful candidate will also be entitled to free use of the centre’s facilities.

Part-time position (20 hours pw)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will have a passion for delivering customer excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the centre including health and safety, customer care, financial procedures and leading and managing multiple departments. The post includes working on a shift pattern, working an average of 20 hours per week. Each Duty Manager post is subject to its own agreed responsibilities.

• The role is very hands on, including working in our busy restaurant/bar
• We have a 35 station gym, and an 8 rinks indoor bowling green along with a restaurant and fully licensed bar
